今天是星期天，我做完作業，跑到陽台上去看我的娃娃魚。 一到陽台，我就發現一隻娃娃魚在地板上爬，再一看缸里只剩下一隻了，我可養了三隻娃娃魚，還有一隻呢？我大叫了起來。爺爺聽到了，問我為什麼叫得這麼響。我說：「一隻娃娃魚不見了。」爺爺也驚訝地說：「那這隻娃娃魚會跑到哪裡去呀？」我急急忙忙地說：「趕快幫我找呀！」
我們在陽台上東翻翻，西找找，可是就是不見它的蹤影。這時爺爺拖動一個大箱子，突然他發現了娃娃魚躲在這裡，「娃娃魚找到了！」我一聽高興地蹦了起來。爺爺把娃娃魚抓到了缸里，爺爺說：「要不我們再拿個網把它蓋住吧。」於是我們就拿了張網蓋在了缸上，這會娃娃魚跑不出來了吧。

三隻娃娃魚又在水裡游呀游呀，我就放心地去看我的課外書了。可是當我再次去看它們的時候，我簡直不敢相信我的眼睛了，地板上又有一隻在那裡使勁地爬呀爬。我又大叫了起來，它們為什麼老是要爬出來，不肯待在裡面呢？這時奶奶說：「娃娃魚不能老待在水裡，最好能岸上爬爬，水裡游游。」於是我就又拿了一塊大石頭放了進去，這回三隻娃娃魚可高興了，一會爬到了石頭上，一會又輕輕地滑到了水裡，而不再向上爬了。
