我放下掃把拿著推耙把堆積成山的穀子向四下里散開。剛開始工作，我覺得非常輕鬆。可是，過了沒有多久，我就覺得吃力起來，推耙越來越重。於是，我休息了一下。然後，我又乾了起來。我先把穀子推開，接著把穀子推成一壟一壟的。這些工作做好後，我找了一個位置坐了下來。沒過幾分鐘，我的眼睛就慢慢地合上了。我竟然睡著了。
我一覺醒來，看到穀子曬得差不多了，我就站起來，拿起工具收穀子了。我把那一條一條的穀子推平，這花了我不少時間。然後，我把穀子推成一條溝一條溝似的。這樣原來下面的穀子給翻了上來，而且可以增加曬穀的面積，穀子曬起來容易干。
做完了這一些工作，我覺得非常開心。接著，我拿出了隨身攜帶的課外書來看了起來。同時，我的眼睛還不時瞄向穀子，不讓雞來吃穀子。
通過這一次勞動，我不僅參加了曬穀，還鍛鍊了身體，而且為父母分擔了責任。我想著想著就更開心了。
