清早，小傑躺在一片碧綠的草地上，正好那有棵大樹，樹上還有一個鳥窩，裡面有三隻可愛的小鳥。
In the early morning, Xiaojie was lying on a green lawn. There was a big tree, and there was a bird's nest on the tree. There were three lovely birds in it.
一隻小鳥被另外兩隻小鳥擠出了鳥窩。小傑聽見小鳥摔在地上哇哇的哭聲，連忙走過去，把小鳥拿起來，說：「小鳥別害怕，我送你回家吧！」小鳥答應了。
One bird was squeezed out of its nest by two other birds. Xiaojie hears the crying sound of the bird falling on the ground, hurriedly walks over, takes the bird up, and says, "don't be afraid of the bird, I'll take you home!" The bird agreed.
於是，小傑找來梯子，爬上去把小鳥送了回去。
So Xiaojie found a ladder, climbed up and sent the bird back.
小鳥向他揮手說：「有空來玩吧！」
The bird waved to him and said, "come and play sometime."
