標準解讀:
這是TOEFL綜合寫作的核心要點。托福綜合寫作不允許考生表達自己的觀點，而要求考生根據讀到和聽到的信息，寫出一篇文章描述聽力是如何反駁或支持了閱讀的內容。 (中國大陸地區迄今為止考查的都是“反駁”關係)。因此在綜合寫作里，首先要“聽懂”並且“正確提煉”聽力的要點， 其次還要正確地將聽力的要點與閱讀的要點做好對應。
形象地說，如果閱讀里的要點是A，B，C三個，聽力所對應的則應該是A-(A否)，B-(B否)，C-(C否)。
最後，提醒考生注意：在有些題目中，聽力並沒有按照閱讀的要點排序進行反駁。 例如閱讀的要點是A,B,C,而聽力反駁的順序變為C否，A否，B否。這種情況下，各位考生也必須做好match(匹配)。即便聽出了A-，B-，C-，但是進行了錯誤的matching也會丟失分數。

托福作文允許有錯誤存在。most一詞表明一篇滿分文章需要避免絕大部分的語法、用詞錯誤。同時這也表明個別的語法錯誤、用詞不當以及諸如拼寫，標點符號和大小寫等錯誤不影響一篇文章得滿分。對於托福綜合寫作來說，更重要的是文章的要點明確、邏輯通暢，語言的整體高水平。
