記得那是五年級下學期一次期末考試過後，我心中滿有把握的父母親說：「這次考試出的題目實在是太簡單了，特別是數學，絕對能得95分以上，你們就放心等著我的好消息吧！」父母都很高興，還給我做了許多好吃的東西，我心裡美滋滋的。可真到了公布成績的那天，我傻眼了，猶如晴天霹靂，我這個一向在班裡名列前茅的優秀學生，在這一次考試中，竟然只得了89分！我忐忑不安的回到家，怯怯的把通知書遞給父親，父親樂呵呵地接過通知書，「啪」通知書被狠狠地摔在地上，父親的臉上立刻「晴轉多雲」。氣沖沖的對我說：「怎麼回事？你不是說能考95分以上嗎！」我膽怯的說：「我，我也不知道，也許是我太粗，粗心了。」「給你說過多少次了，不要粗心，不要粗心，做完後認真檢查，不要東張西望，你就是不聽！」「好了，別對她那麼凶了。」媽媽走過來，撫摸著我的頭，親切的說：「下次考好點，你可要努力呀！」我當時心裡非常難受，下決心要努力學習，在下一次的考試中取得優異的成績。果然，在下一次期末考試中，我以數學98分，語文97分，英語100分的優異成績成為了全年級第一。
